Welcome to Women in Neurotech (“WINT,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By joining our community, attending events, participating in discussions, or using our website and services, you agree to the following Membership Terms & Conditions.
These Terms are intended to help maintain a respectful, educational, and professional community environment.
1. Community Purpose

All WINT branding, logos, graphics, website materials, educational materials, and original content are the property of Women in Neurotech unless otherwise stated.
Members may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use WINT materials without prior written permission.

WINT may share links, tools, resources, job postings, or third-party opportunities for convenience and educational purposes.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Women in Neurotech, its founders, organizers, volunteers, affiliates, chapter leaders, contributors, and participants shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to participation in the community, events, communications, or services.
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the member to WINT within the prior twelve months, or USD $50, whichever is less.
14. Indemnification
Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless Women in Neurotech and its organizers, volunteers, affiliates, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, or legal fees arising from:

15. Chapter Leadership
Local chapter organizers and volunteers act independently and are not employees, agents, or legal representatives of WINT unless explicitly designated in writing.
WINT reserves the right to approve, suspend, modify, or revoke chapter status at any time.

WINT may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Termination
WINT reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct deemed inappropriate, harmful, unlawful, or inconsistent with the mission of the community.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
